From children and youth to adults, worship and music, care and support, and opportunities to serve our neighbors, our ministries are designed to help you connect with others, grow in faith, and live out Christ’s call to love and serve. Music & Fine Arts

At Second Church, music and the arts are an essential part of worship, spiritual growth, and community. Led by Dr. Michelle L. Louer, our Music & Fine Arts Ministry offers opportunities for all ages to use their gifts, grow in faith, and share the message of Jesus Christ through music and creative expression.

Second Treasures

Open year-round, our Second Treasures thrift store is dedicated to supporting the needs of our Washington Township neighbors and the greater Indianapolis community. We sell gently used men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing. We also offer a variety of accessories (handbags, shoes, and jewelry).

Children

Second Church welcomes children and families to worship, learn, and grow together! From nursery care and Children’s Chapel to intergenerational worship, we provide a warm, welcoming space where children of all ages can experience God’s love and be part of our church community.

Youth

Youth Ministry at Second Church is a welcoming community for students in grades 6–12 to explore faith, build meaningful relationships, and discover who God is calling them to be. Through worship, learning, service, and fun, youth are encouraged to ask questions, grow in faith, and experience the transforming love of Christ in a community where they are known, valued, and welcomed.

Emerging Adults

Second Church’s Emerging Adults Ministry supports adults ages 18–25 as they navigate the exciting and challenging transition into adulthood. Through worship, Bible studies, small groups, service, and social gatherings, we create opportunities to find community, grow in faith, and discover a place to belong during this season of life.

The Young Adults Ministry is a welcoming community for adults roughly ages 18–40, wherever you are in life. Through worship, community, service, and faith, we create opportunities to build meaningful connections, grow together, and live out God’s love in Indianapolis. You don’t have to have life figured out—you belong here at Second Church.

Women

Women at Second is a welcoming community for women to grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and serve others. Affiliated with Presbyterian Women, the ministry offers opportunities for Bible study, prayer, service, fellowship, and working for justice and peace. All women in the Second Church community are invited to participate and find meaningful ways to connect.

Men at Second is a welcoming community for men in every season of life to grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and serve others. Through Bible studies, fellowship, and service opportunities, we seek to use our heads, hearts, and hands to become the men God created us to be and grow together as disciples of Jesus Christ.

Second Church’s LGBTQ+ Christian Fellowship Ministry is an affirming and inclusive community for LGBTQ+ Christians, family, friends, and allies. We create space to worship, grow in faith, build community, and pursue justice while embracing one another as our whole selves and celebrating the rich diversity of God’s people.
