Leadership and outdoor adventure opportunity for young ladies, ages 11-17!

Do you know a preteen or teen who likes the outdoors? Want your daughter to learn some independence and responsibility? Welcome to Scouting America: Fun with a Purpose.

Scouting America Troop 171 is hosting informational meetings on Wednesday, August 14 and 21 at 7 PM. The meeting will be held outside at the shelter on the north side of the church campus. If your daughter loves adventure and the outdoors, and is between the ages of 11 and 17, please join us to learn more about our program and meet our Scouts. This year’s activity schedule includes camping, fire building, horseback riding, canoeing, caving, backpacking, campfire cooking and more! Parents should plan on attending this meeting with their daughter, as details on registration and safety will be presented.
