This tour is not just for singers. Your family is welcome to join us as we explore South Africa and represent Second Presbyterian Church.

Our journey begins with the bustling markets of Johannesburg and metropolitan Soweto and concludes on the Southern Cape. Along the way, we’ll visit the Apartheid Museum; take two open vehicle safari drives through Pilanesberg National Park and Featherbed Nature Preserve; see Table Mountain in Cape Town, and visit a Penguin Colony. We will also spend a day on Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned. The choir will perform concerts at Holy Cross Church (Soweto) to benefit the Kliptown Youth Project; Tyhlora Primary School in Thembalethu; a joint concert with the Cape Town Youth Choir; and sing in worship at St. George’s Cathedral in Cape Town.
