A lifelong resident of Indianapolis, Beverly S. Mathis can't remember when she was not interested in art and teaching. She has dedicated her life to those pursuits. Her painting style features traditional subjects, details, textures, and clear colors, but she also can paint loose contemporary abstracts. Look for a scripture that she hides in some of her paintings.
