Bible Studies and Small Groups

Many small groups of women meet on a regular basis to nurture faith through prayer, study, service and fellowship. There are groups for all interests and ages.  Some groups meet regularly during the weekdays; others meet in the evening. Still others meet on an “as-needed” basis. Please feel welcome to visit a group, or call the contact person for more information.  Room locations are subject to change.

Purpose: A detailed, compehensive study of the Bible to promote a deeper understanding of scripture and how it applies to our everyday lives.

PW Women in the Word are going to Shiloh and revisit Eli, Samuel, Hannah, Saul and David as we study Samuel I and II.

Would you like to learn more about your faith through study and fellowship? Join us! The Presbyterian Women Wednesday Morning Bible Study will hold five summer meetings studying the first seven chapters of The Parables of Jesus by William Barclay. The only reference you will need for this homework-free study is your Bible. Because each lesson is independent, you do not need to attend all five meetings. Come when your schedule allows!
 
Wednesdays: 6/14, 6/21, 7/12, 7/19, and 7/26.
 
A summer pitch-in luncheon will be held on 8/2. All women are welcome!

Twice each month, amateurs and professionals from the Second Church community come together for fellowship and artistic expression in any media. The group shares conversation, exchanges ideas, offers constructive critiquing if desired, and explores various art media with those who have knowledge of such. It is open to anyone who wants to learn or just paint, draw or talk about art.
