Second Act Monthly Gathering

When: June 9, 3–4:30 PM
Where: McFarland Hall (with Zoom option available from 3:30–4:30 PM)

Join Second Act for our June Gathering! This event is a wonderful opportunity to connect, celebrate, and learn together.

Schedule:

• 3:00–3:30 PM: Enjoy informal fellowship and celebrate recent birthdays (yes, there will be cake!). 
• 3:30–4:30 PM: Structured programming begins with reflections on “What’s Happening at Second?” led by Executive Pastor Rev. Karen Lang. We are also looking forward to welcoming Kate Booker, Social Worker for Northside Mission, who will tell us about her work and her faith journey. There will be opportunities to share in prayer and devotion together as well.

Zoom Option: Can’t join us in person? Contact Ann VanMeter to join via Zoom for the 3:30–4:30 PM portion.

Who’s Invited?
While Second Act programs and events are geared toward older adults (generally 60+), all are welcome to participate!

This is our last monthly gathering for the 2024-2025 program year. Stay tuned for future fall gathering dates, and save the date for our trip to Montreat, September 15 - 19. Details coming soon!
