Grown-Up Summer Camp at Camp Pyoca
July 25-28, Camp Pyoca, Brownstown, IN
One of the best ways to build deep relationships, is to get away together. Summer brings one of our favorite experiences: Grown-up Summer Camp at Pyoca in Brownstown, IN. This is for anyone 21+ who wants to explore and grow their faith, rest in creation, and reclaim lives of purpose and play. It’s camp for adults, which is too much joy for words to summarize. See a glimpse of it for yourself!
This is the third summer that Second Presbyterian Church has partnered with Pyoca Camp & Retreat Center in Brownstown, IN to host Grown-up Summer Camp. It's camp for adults with the traditional highlights: waterfront, high ropes, arts & crafts, worship, family groups, and keynote. We also have opportunities tailored for adults who just need to unplug: late nights with new friends, an evening at the Jackson County Fair, and morning yoga or coffee on the porch. This experience is open to all who are 21+.
Speakers this year will include De’Amon Harges, Broadway United Methodist Church’s Original “Roving Listener,” and Rev. Dr. Winterbourne Harrison-Jones, head pastor of Witherspoon Presbyterian Church.
If you're longing for a long weekend away, deeper community, and a refreshed faith then you'll want to plan your summer around Grown-up Summer Camp!
If camp is calling your name but finances are an obstacle, reach out to Rev. Gracie Payne as scholarships are available.
