Calling all teachers, helpers, and volunteers! The next program year is right around the corner, and we need your help! Did you know it takes a minimum of 15 people to run Sunday morning children’s ministry? And that’s only one of many regular programs for children and families at Second Presbyterian Church.

Following worship on Sunday, August 25, Children & Family Ministry will host a training for anyone who plans to volunteer in any way with children’s ministry during the 2024-25 program year. Planning to teach? Thinking about serving as a helper in the classroom or baby rocker in the nursery? Curious about organizing or setting up one of our many special events? This training is for you.  

After enjoying a catered lunch, we will review our Child Protection Policy and best practices, present the Sunday school curriculum, and share the program year calendar. You will be invited to ask questions, sign up where you feel called, and connect with others who are invested in children’s faith formation at Second!
