Second Act Speaker Series
Wednesday, August 11

The Second Act Speaker Series is going on the road to Conner Prairie!

On Wednesday, August 11, we will gather at Conner Prairie at 10:30 a.m. to hear Lenape Chief Mike Pace share some of the history of the indigenous peoples who first inhabited the ground where Indianapolis and Second Presbyterian now stand. Our own Rev. John Franke will moderate a discussion with Mike, followed by lunch.

Participants will have the option to spend the afternoon exploring the grounds and experiences of Conner Prairie, seeing Lenape and early Indiana history come to life. Friends and family of all ages are welcome!

Reservations are $25 for adults and $20 for children up to age 17. Registration includes the cost of the program, lunch, and admission to Connor Prairie. DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION IS MONDAY, AUGUST 9 AT 8 p.m. When you register, please note if you will need a gluten free or vegetarian lunch option.
