Interfaith Book Study: Poverty, by America
September 10 - October 1; (various locations)
Join us this fall as we study Poverty, by America! Author and sociologist Matthew Desmond, explains why poverty persists in our country. As one reviewer said, “abolishing poverty in America begins with loving our neighbors as we love ourselves.”
We will have three interactive study sessions at various locations (September 10-26) and a closing session (October 1), hosted at Second Presbyterian, focused on what we can do to respond to what we have learned.
