Children at Second

We welcome your family to worship and learn at Second Church!

Sunday Worship Services:

• 8:15 AM: Chapel
• 10:00 AM: Sanctuary (includes Word with Children)

Bring your wiggles, giggles, and all! God put the wiggle in children, and we’re excited to have them join us.

9 AM: Stories of Our Christian Faith

• Children ages 4 through fifth grade are welcome in third floor classrooms to engage in sacred stories and a wide range of activities through the Stories of Our Christian Faith series.
  • Room 304 – PreK-1
  • Room 309 – Grades 2 & 3
  • Room 307 – 45 Degrees

During the 10 AM Service:

• Children ages 4 through rising fifth graders begin in the sanctuary with their families.
• After Word with Children, they have two options:
  • Stay: Return to the pews and worship with the whole congregation.
  • Go: Dismissed with staff to Godly Play Chapels, Rooms 305 or 309.
    • Creative Response Activities
      • Room 309 – PreK-1
      • Room 304 – Grades 2 & 3
      • Room 307 – 45 Degrees 
    • Carol Choir
      • Room 355 – children second through fifth grade

Nursery Care:

• Infants & Toddlers: Room 240
• Two- and Three-Year-Olds: Room 233
