Children at Second

We welcome your family to worship and learn at Second Church!

Sunday, December 28 and Sunday, January 4

Our Sunday Children’s programming is on pause for the holiday season.  Following the Word with Children in the December 28 and January 4 services, children will be asked to return to the pews to worship with their parents or caregivers. Childcare is available on the second floor for infants through age 3.

Regular Children's programming resumes January 11 at 9 AM.

Sunday Mornings — 9 AM: Stories of Our Christian Faith

• Children ages 4 through fifth grade are welcome in third floor classrooms to engage in sacred stories and a wide range of activities through the Stories of Our Christian Faith series.
  • Room 304 – PreK-3rd Grade
  • Room 307 – 4th-5th Grade (45 Degrees)

Sunday Mornings — 10 AM Worship Service

• Children ages 4 through rising fifth graders begin in the sanctuary with their families.
• After the Word with Children, they have two options:
  • Stay: Return to the pews and worship with the whole congregation.
  • Go: Dismissed with staff to Godly Play Chapel, Rooms 305 or 309.

      • Room 309 – PreK-1st Grade
      • Room 304 – 2nd-5th Grade
    • Carol Choir

Sunday Morning Nursery Care:

• Infants & Toddlers: Room 240
• Two- and Three-Year-Olds: Room 233
