LIVING FAITH

Sundays; 9 AM, Common Room
This class pauses for summer on May 19.

The more we bear witness to the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ in our broken world, the more we feel compelled to live out and act on our faith. This class explores various topics related to Christian faith and life in the world and seeks to bring biblical and theological education together with advocacy and action. It is coordinated by Dr. John Franke and includes sessions led by members of Second’s staff as well as outside speakers.

May 12-19Exploring the Meaning of Pentecost
This two-week class will explore the extraordinary events of Pentecost recorded in Acts 2 and ask the same question as those who were present on that occasion asked each other, “What does this mean?” Led by Dr. John Franke.
