We LOVED last Sunday’s anthem! Listen again to the gentle power of this music in Gilbert Martin's glorious setting of When I Survey the Wondrous Cross, affirming our commitment to Christ as his disciples, and together, leading us to rejoice in his love that is unlike any other. Unconditional and divine. THE WORK OF GOD'S KINGDOM

This Sunday's choral music will include the African-American spiritual Ain't Got Time To Die featuring soloist John Brewer and the Sanctuary Choir Section Leaders. The work of God's kingdom is fulfilled through our active participation in mission and ministry - praising Jesus, helping the sick, feeding the poor. Tune in to hear this joyful invitation to life in Christ.

Our preparation for September 27 continues! We’ve updated our guidelines to include new details about registration and process. Take a look! Registration for Sunday, September 27 will open online this Sunday afternoon at SecondChurch.org/Worship – everything you need to know will always be on our Worship web page. When you register, you’ll select your seat from within four different zones across the sanctuary (the pulpit section on the far west side, the pulpit side of the center pews, the lectern side of the center pews, and the lectern section on the far east side). Be sure to look for and read your confirmation email after you register!                         

SPIRITUAL FORMATION ON SUNDAYS

Children's Sunday School is floating into fall with Noah! Visit SecondChurch.org/Children for videos, stories, and activity pages. Elementary students can join us for Zoom Sunday School as we begin breakout rooms so the older crowd and the younger crowd can have their own time!  We will all start together for a few minutes of fun and then divide into these two virtual groups!  Still just 30 minutes total – a little dose of holy fun! Email CFM@SecondChurch.org for Zoom details.

Virtual Youth Suite is open on Sundays. Sunday at 10:00 a.m. students join virtually for time to hang out and have faith conversations. Contact Tyler Wolfcale or Tom Markey for details.

Footsteps of Faith for seniors begins this Sunday in the Virtual Youth Suite. Still time to fill out the application at SecondChurch.org/Footsteps.
