SUNDAY WORSHIP
Online Only, August 30, 11 a.m.
Rev. Chris Henry

Going Deep: Expansive Grace
"And the Lord said, 'Is it right for you to be angry?'" (Jonah 4:4)

TELLING THE STORY THROUGH SONG

Did you catch last week’s powerful anthem?! Sung by Second’s Sanctuary Choir and recorded in worship on October 14, 2018, “Witness” arr. Jack Halloran (1916-1997), tells the spiritual journey of Nicodemus and Samson – both witnesses of God’s strength and sovereignty. Listen again here and be moved by the power of this story through song! This Sunday’s music in worship will continue the theme of God's transformative grace with a beautiful duet by J.S. Bach, sung by Blake and Shannon Beckemeyer (tenor and soprano) and accompanied by Sarah Cranor (violin) and John Allegar (harpsichord). Be sure to tune in at 11:00!
