Helping Our Neighbors

You have the opportunity to help those in need right now. We invite you to consider these opportunities to live into the work of ministry.

Haiti. Afghanistan. Hurricane Ida. Hurricane Iota. And more. Can you help? Join with Second and our community of faith already in action to help our neighbors today.

Afghan refugee families temporarily housed at Camp Atterbury need clothing, hygiene items and more. Second, St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, Central District of United Methodist Church, and Team Rubicon are working together to collect donations for NEW clothing and hygiene items and to raise funds for our new neighbors.

Wondering what items are needed? Check out this Amazon wishlist to purchase clothing, shoes, and supplies for Afghan refugees. They are requesting only new clothing at this time.

Presbyterian Disaster Assistance remains hard at work to help those suffering and recovering from crisis and disaster - Haiti earthquake, Hurricane Ida, Hurricane Iota, and more. Second is helping and so can you! Learn more here.
